RELL: MAKING IT MORE DIFFICULT 4 CT

Rell signed the latest incarnation of the state Global Warming bill. The new law requires state agencies to calculate and list greenhouse gases produced in the state, come up with strategies to meet the new reduction goals and start measuring the state’s progress.

This sounds somewhat nebulous? How strict will those goals be? How would these restrictions change our way of life?

So the heat will remain on, Rell is complicit with other alarmists, Americans will be guilted into paying more taxes. And the fact the this warming is just a cycle which will be followed by a cooling will be ignored. Didn’t we have the coldest January in the last 50 years?

The American people are going to get fleeced, big time. The government and the people like Al Gore who own carbon offset companies will continue to bleed us dry.

The “three strikes” amendment failed by a vote of 19 to 16.

According to the Chris Keating of the Courant~

Senate Republican leader John McKinney of Southport said that the “three strikes” proposal was necessary because some judges were not handing down stiff-enough sentences. A legislative report showed that an average of 103 people have been released from prison every year for the past five years after they finished serving their time for three violent felonies. The average sentence for the third violent felony was 7.9 years in prison, McKinney said, citing the legislative report.

The people of Connecticut are being lied to by the Democrats and Governor Rell that the compromise bill includes tough, mandatory minimum sentences.

Currently, a criminal could receive 40 years in prison for compelling someone to have sex at gunpoint. The bill, crafted by Democrats, would reduce that penalty to 20 years.

Is this what they call tough on CRIME ?

Smart to stick Osama Bin Laden in ad. Scaring voters is always an effective tactic. It worked with the 3am phone call.

Does she pull out a win in PA and by how much?
