I don’t agree with Newt all the time but he makes alot of sense on this one. They this country continues to want electricity nuclear power is the best way.

Wouldn’t Newt solution punish speculators more than Rep. Larson’s bill?

It time for leadership, so far neither major political party on the national level is providing it.

Connecticut House Minority Leader Rep. Lawrence Caferro, R-Norwalk, center, Sen. Len Fasano, R-North Haven, left, and Senate Minority Leader John McKinney, R-Southport, conduct a news conference in the press room at the state Capitol in Hartford on Wednesday.

Republican lawmakers were frustrated as Legislative Dumbocrats refused to allow debate on an Alternative state budget during yesterday’s special session.

Here is the damage, the dems inflicted:

Postponed a gas tax that was to take affect July 1st 2008. Putting off responsiblity.

Raised the real estate tax for home sellers even as sellers sell at a loss.

Passed ethics reform but keeps the legislators who are ethicly challenged.

Bailed out UCONN Health Center again! ($22 million)

Without any debate!!!!

And 22 of their members showed to be cowards:
